The Skip Hire Management System is a system module of the WIS server which handles all aspects of a skip hire business, enabling you to make the system work for you instead of you salving over the system.
When developing the skip hire system we focused on 2 main components :
- To automate as many of the labour intensive work processes in order to reduce overall costs per month
- Increase money coming into the business but driving online sales through SEO, better conversion practices by improving online processes and improving the accounting procedures in order to manage accounts better.
By doing this we now have a system where visitors come from Google and signup / pay for skips from the ordering system. These orders are then saved into the days log book for processing. Once manually processed or automatically depending on desire, the allocated driver gets the task onto their phone. Once at the customer's premises they perform the task and request a signature from the customer. If they can't locate the customers location they can review the map on the phone as well. Once the job has been processed the admin system is updated and an invoice / receipt can be issued to the customer via email or post.
if your business has a weigh bridge, don't worry - the WIS can be linked up to any weigh bridge in order to auto fill weights into jobs / invoices. These weights can also be brought into the extensive reporting section to fulfill all the local authority requirements.
Knowing the position of a driver or the exact location of skips is also no problem - as these services are inherent to the WIS system's tracking function. Enabling your business to route drivers to new orders on the fly and managing skips on the market and in the yard.
